Beginning with the Kings Royal and ending with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, it was an action-packed week at Eldora Speedway. Not to be outdone by the headlining events, the Super DIRTcar Series made a return to the facility for the first time in 10 years.
On night one, Tim Fuller picked up right where he left off ten years ago. He was victorious the last time the series visited Eldora and grabbed the 100-lap feature in the July 19 return. Fuller started 12th in the feature field and battled his way to the front. A total of 58 cars attempted to qualify for the 32-car A Main.
Night two brought a 25-lap invitational exhibition as a precursor to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Defending Super DIRTcar Series Champion and current point leader Matt Sheppard led wire-to-wire to pick up his first ever win at Eldora.
After a stop on Thursday night at Sharon Speedway (won by Jimmy Phelps) the series heads back to the east for a pair of races in Quebec on Monday and Tuesday at Autodrome Granby and Autodrome Drummond. For more information visit www.superdirtcarseries.com
